Scope:
The Passenger Ship Familiarization (PSF) course is designed for ratings and other personnel serving on passenger ships as part of the vessel's complement. It covers the mandatory training requirements outlined in:
- STCW 95, Regulation V/3
- STCW Code, Section A-V/3
- MS (STCW) Rules, 1998, Chapter V, Rule 32
- META Manual, Chapter V, Section M-V/3
Course Objective:
Upon completion of this course, trainees will be qualified to serve as ratings or other personnel on passenger ships. Alongside their regular duties, they will gain the skills necessary to assist in passenger handling and manage emergencies on board effectively.

- Basic Passenger Ship Safety Requirements
- Emergency Preparedness & Organization
